Everything on this screen does something. Here is the map.

the portal Your account. Sign in or register here, then check your pet, see the friends leaderboard, and open your challenges.

the torch Running events. Browse the public ones anyone can apply to, create your own, and collect the titles and medals in your trophy case.

the notice board Leader board. The top 10 runners by distance, with two tabs: this week resets every Sunday at 00:00 WIB, all time never does. Gold, silver and bronze medals mark the top three. Tap any runner to open their card — pet, level, total distance — and add them as a friend. Below is the same ranking among your own friends, which needs you signed in. The ? button inside explains the rules and counts down to the next weekly reset. Distance above vehicle speed is never counted.

the sun & moon About RunBud — what it is and who makes it. It turns into the moon at night, following the time on your device.

the plane The round-screen companion board. Entirely optional — RunBud plays full-featured on just a phone.

the dragon Your pet. Tap it to say hi. In the app it grows as you run, and its STR, VIT and LUK follow how you actually run.

the sky Tap anywhere in the sky and the dragon takes off across it.

RunBud is in closed testing. Things move around, and the occasional rough edge is expected.

About RunBud

RunBud is a pet-fitness game: a virtual pet that hatches, grows and evolves only from your real runs and walks. Every kilometre you cover is a kilometre it grows.

How it works

Your pet grows only from real runs and walks. Here is the whole loop, from the first kilometre to the top of the Arena.

1grow

get the app Install RunBud on Android and create an account. The same account works here.

hatch the egg Run or walk your first 1 km and your pet hatches.

run, it grows GPS counts real running and walking only. Vehicles and faked locations don't count. Each run earns EXP, food and stats: STR · paceVIT · distance LUK · streak egghatchlingwyrmadultancient

take care of it Feed it, play with it and let it rest. A neglected pet gets hungry and sad, and remembers it.

2battle

duel friends Swap friend codes and fight live. Attack, defend or focus: each beats one and loses to another.

ranked arena Climb from Bronze to Mythic one star at a time. A Star Shield saves a star when you lose.

boss battles Send your pet against bosses. Well fed and rested hits harder, and wins drop loot.

running events First to the target distance takes the gem prize. Join one, or host your own.

3rewards

weekly league Who ran most this week, among runners like you. Top places move up, from Pebble to Legend, and earn RBP.

running clubs Up to 30 runners chase one weekly target together. Hit it and everyone who ran gets RBP.

sticker album Early runs, long runs, streaks, new areas: collect them all and show off your favourites.

vouchers Got a code? Sign in here, open invite friends & redeem and claim gems, Plus days or items.

Invite friends, run free. Every 10 friends who join with your link and finish 3 runs (5 km) give you 7 days of RunBud Plus. They get 50 Gems.

BOARD The optional RunBud board is a small round screen where your pet lives and runs with you. Without RunBud Plus, runs earn while the board is connected.

PLUS RunBud Plus lets every run count without the board, and adds a route map, a share card, run stats, pet scenes and monthly gems.

About the developer

RunBud is made by BimsBike Dev, an independent developer in Indonesia, who wanted a better reason to go for a run, and a companion that grows with every step.

Your run route stays on your phone. Only distance and time reach our server.
No ads and no third-party trackers.
Fair play: progress comes from real movement, never from idle timers.

A little round screen where your pet actually lives. It wanders, eats, sleeps and sulks right there on your desk, and when you head out, it runs with you.

What it does

Your pet, always on. See its mood, hunger and stage at a glance, no unlocking your phone.
Runs with you. Start a run and your pet sprints across its own scene: beach, city or mountains, day or night.
Duel replays. Watch your pet's duels against friends play out on the board.
Handy on the run. Phone notifications from the apps you choose, turn-by-turn arrows from Google Maps, and a live speedometer.
Easy to live with. Pairs over Bluetooth in one tap and updates straight from the app, no cable needed.

GOOD TO KNOW Without RunBud Plus, runs earn EXP while the board is connected. With RunBud Plus, every run counts even when the board stays home.

Only runs synced from the app count, and distance covered above 25 km/h (a vehicle, not a run) is never added to any board.
